Today brings ample sunshine through the morning hours with a few more clouds building in for the afternoon. High temperatures today will reach 90 degrees with a breezy wind from the south gusting up to 20 miles per hour.

Cloud cover will gradually increase through the morning leaving us mostly cloudy by the afternoon, high temperatures today are warm again just shy of 90 degrees. A few isolated showers or pop-up storms are possible during the afternoon and early evening, coverage looks minimal at best.

Our weather pattern will get more unsettled starting today and will continue all the way through Memorial Day and beyond. Today will be very humid with increasing clouds, high temps are cooler as a result topping out in the middle 80s. Scattered to numerous rain showers and thunderstorms will develop by late morning and will continue into the evening.

Early rain showers will start to taper by late morning and some breaks in the clouds are expected. High temps today will likely stay in the middle to upper 70s before additional scattered showers and storms develop into the afternoon and continue to the evening.

Today will bring a mix of sun and clouds to the Tennessee Valley with afternoon high temperatures around 80 degrees.

The higher threat for heavy rain and storms this afternoon and evening will favor locations east of I-65. With the tropical airmass in place, any rain shower today can produce very high rainfall rates that may lead to isolated flooding.

Early clouds begin to break up by late morning as drier air filters in from the north. Skies are partly cloudy during the afternoon with warm high temps in the middle 80s.

Today is a 48 First Alert Weather Day for two rounds of heavy rain and strong to severe thunderstorms.

High temperatures today approach 90 degrees with a bit less coverage of afternoon downpours and storms. Any storms that develop today will bring heavy rainfall, lightning and some gusty winds.

Skies remain mainly cloudy for the morning hours with mostly rain-free conditions expected through lunchtime. The same cut-off center of low pressure to our east will bring yet another day of scattered downpours and a few thunderstorms to the Tennessee Valley.
