A stretch of beautiful weather is heading to Maine, with high pressure settling over the region and keeping conditions nice and quiet through the weekend.

A beautiful Friday wraps up the work week with mostly sunny skies and comfortable temperatures in the 70s.

It will overall be a decent weekend with a few chances for isolated showers and storms. A warming trend comes next week.

Lows will dip into the 30s ad 40s overnight, Slightly warmer temperatures are expected on Sunday with scattered showers. Temperatures will gradually warm through the week.

Below-average temperatures will stick around Friday as a low pressure system brings rain to western and southern Maine Friday afternoon and night.
