Would you take a short cruise on one of the world's largest ships? Recently, I returned from a 4-night getaway on Allure of the Seas, an Oasis Class ship currently ranked 7th among the largest cruise ships in the world. With over 5,400 passengers onboard, Allure is packed with activities, dining options, and entertainment that make you feel like you're vacationing in a floating city at sea.

The U.S. Coast Guard has suspended the search for a man believed to have gone overboard from Princess Cruises' Ruby Princess. The 72-year-old American man is thought to have fallen off the ship before it arrived in San Francisco on Monday, December 2, following a 5-night cruise to Ensenada, Mexico. The vessel arrived around 6:50am. According to a statement by the cruise line, officials searched the ship and sourced security videos. My recent cruise proved the days of finding last-minute deals aren't gone yet. A few weeks ago, I was browsing Royal Caribbean's "Going, Going, Gone" sale and found an affordable 4-night cruise on Allure of the Seas, one of the world's largest cruise ships. The fare, including gratuities, was just $834.36 for two people in a standard interior cabin, or around $417 per person.

Carnival Cruise Line has released new passport rules for guests sailing to Panama. Did you know you don't necessarily need a passport to go on a cruise? Disney Cruise Line isn't known for affordable fares. However, when I saw a cruise advertised for less than $2,000, I didn't hesitate to email my travel agent. It was one of those rare deals that felt too good to pass up, especially for a Disney cruise to their new private destination in The Bahamas.
