Seven years ago, the first Four Winds Festival was held at the Icon Lounge with 9 local bands. Last week, festival organizers announced the lineup for the 2023 festival, which has grown to encompass three nights with four stages and over 50 Sioux Falls-based musical acts alongside the 605 Art Show.

For almost seven years, there has been an effort to build a new skatepark in Sioux Falls by an organization known as Let’s Skate, formerly known as the Sioux Falls Skatepark Association, and construction on the new park will be starting as soon as July.

The seven shows performed this year range from classics, such as Snow White and the Tortoise and the Hare, to original shows written by director Michael Smith.
