Sunburg Community Music performed its first program of the 2025 season Sunday to celebrate St. Patrick's Day with a set of traditional Irish and Scottish music.

More than 300 people gathered near Rep. Michelle Fischbach’s office in Willmar a second time to express their dissatisfaction with the Congresswoman as well as the current federal administration led by U.S. President Donald Trump.

Steve Rodelius, 54, of Willmar, was sentenced on an amended misdemeanor charge of theft. According to the criminal complaint, Rodelius stole more than $1,500 in groceries from a supermarket.

Joseph Wisocki IV, 57, was sentenced Monday to serve jail time and probation after pleading guilty to two counts of theft from the Eagle Creek Golf Club while he served as director.

On Feb. 11, 2025, a federal judge found settlement agreements between plaintiffs and nine poultry processors to be fair and reasonable. The ruling is the result of a class-action lawsuit alleging poultry companies conspired to suppress wages.

The Little Theatre in New London hosts weekly screenings of public domain films while also serving coffee and tea on Sundays. The theme last Sunday was "space adventures," featuring two full-length and various short films.

The fourth annual Koselig Fest at Goat Ridge Brewing in New London was on Saturday, Feb. 8, 2025. New to the event this year was a wood-barreled sauna. Guests could book 45-minute sessions to experience the spirit of the winter event.

Eden Valley and Watkins Fire departments responded to a report of a tractor catching fire at a farm site in Eden Valley. Two other tractors parked nearby were also damaged, but no one was injured.
