The Saturday night lights were shining bright across the upstate as a number of schools in our area took the field to make up rescheduled games affected by Hurricane Helene.

The South Carolina Gamecocks are looking to ride the momentum following a big road win over Oklahoma, turning their attention to a home date with the 10th-ranked Texas A&M Aggies.

The 2024 Southern Conference Tournament champion Wofford Terriers were selected to face Baylor in the first round of the tournament.

The Gamecocks, coming off a 91-88 win over Clemson, won their sixth straight and seventh in eight games at home.

Clemson held North Carolina to a season-low 53 points, 20 points per game below its season average, and just a .370 shooting percentage.

The new date has been set for Tuesday, March 4, at 6 p.m. Tickets for Tuesday's originally scheduled game are valid for the March 4 date.
