As it stands every child in P1-P5 across the city is automatically entitled to receive a free school lunch as part of the 'Universal Entitlement' scheme

Some primary 6 and 7 pupils will now be entitled to free school meals

Residents will also be able to vote on their preferred ideas for how to spend the money in their community.

The money will go to help organisations including Barnardo’s, the National Fostering Agency, The Adolescent & Children’s Trust, Care Visions Fostering Ltd, Aberlour Child Care Trust and Fosterplus (Fostercare) Ltd.
