Sources tell WAFF Sports Director Carl Prather that the University of North Alabama will announce a sport expansion in the athletic department for 2026 that includes the addition of men’s and women’s track and women’s flag football.

The Alabama A&M University men’s golf team shot a second-round best 1-under-par 283 to finish second at the 40th Annual Thomas W. Dortch Jr. HBCU Invitational on Tuesday at the Laurel Springs Golf Club.
