SALEM, Ohio (WKBN)- Friday is opening day at Salem City Lake. It’s open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Gamble Road. There will be season passes for sale, as well as kayak and boat rentals, shore fishing, live bait and lures, and concessions. Salem Parks and Rec says the water level is good and it’s excited to welcome everyone back. Right now, the lake only accepts cash payments.

Firefighters were called just after midnight for a house fire near the corner of Carroll and Edwards Street.

It’s hosted by FreeThree, which stands for Freedom in Mahoning, Trumbull, and Columbiana counties.

Calls came in for visible flames at Martin’s Auto Body on Route 14 in Unity Township just before 3 a.m.

A car and SUV were involved.

It is Tuesday night from 6 p.m.- 8 p.m.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol confirms there are multiple crashes, one involving a car and a semi-truck.

Part of I-80 near the Hubbard weigh station is back open after the westbound lanes were shut down for a few hours shortly after midnight.

Troopers say the driver hit the old toll booth on the Ohio Turnpike around 3 a.m.

It is on the corner of Norquest Boulevard and Route 46.
