As a hot sleeper, one of my biggest goals when shopping for bedding is finding breathable pieces that will keep me cool through the night. I’ve found sheets I love, and even a comforter that’s surprisingly cool to the touch, but that wasn’t without a lot of testing over the years.

As someone who’s prone to stress out over shopping for furniture online, it may or may not come as a surprise that one of my favorite activities as an AT editor is testing it out first-hand. Its helped me learn so much about my favorite furniture brands and which places are making high-quality pieces that I’d happily recommend to the next person. That being said, testing out a piece from Ashley was kind of a no-brainer.

Believe it or not, I actually love to organize my home. Finding methods and tools that make every day a little bit easier to navigate is a huge win in my book, and throughout my years at Apartment Therapy, I’ve made some amazing discoveries. YouCopia is one of them. This editor-loved brand has a wide variety of innovative, space-saving organizers, including spice racks, fridge drawers, freezer racks, bag dispensers, and so much more.

There’s more than one way to wash your clothes, and trust me: I’ve tried plenty. I’ve had dogs most of my life, and for as long as I can remember, storing their food has always been a production. Most of the time, I’ve either had to pour dog food out of a big bag or scoop kibble out of a rather large container that we got with a kit of puppy essentials from the vet years ago. When it comes to mattresses, I don’t think I’m all that hard to please. I can count on one hand the number of beds I’d never want to sleep on again.

It doesn’t take me long to know whether or not I’m going to enjoy a pillow long-term or if it’ll get banished to the floor within days. Don’t get me wrong, there are a lot of pillows that I love. In fact, there are plenty that I keep on my bed.
