Baila el Pueblo: A Desert Music Festival will feature seven acts that represent Southwestern music and its diverse tributaries. It will take place at the MSA Annex on Saturday, March 22.

The Wa:K Pow Wow is returning for its 40th year with more dancing, more community and more Indigenous culture. It will take place at Mission San Xavier del Bac this weekend.

The last installment of the Center for Creative Photography's Sobremesa event series is set to bring a casual and family-friendly experience full of food samples by a local chef and conversation about famed photographer Louis Carlos Bernal with Tucson-based visual artists. It will take place at El Pueblo Neighborhood Center on Friday, Feb. 28 from 5:30 - 7 p.m.

The Pima County Public Library is conducting a survey to help determine what the community would like to see from the library system. The survey will close on midnight on Monday, March 17 and is available in both English and Spanish.

"Disabled Ecologies: Lessons from a Wounded Desert" by Sunaura Taylor dives deep into aquifers and runs city-wide to discuss the effects of pollution on Tucson, its people and its nature. Taylor will take part in the first Arizona Author talk of the year on Thursday.
