As Dean and as he has transitioned into the role of Provost, Baucom has maintained that it is crucial for him to listen to faculty, stakeholders and students in order to best understand how to improve the University.

The Board initially received the report Oct. 20, one unredacted version and one version redacted to comply with federal privacy laws. Ryan said the report will be postponed until criminal proceedings have concluded. 

Retirement, as you can tell, has been treating me well. When people ask me now if I miss it, I laugh and tell them some things I definitely don’t miss. But I don’t always get to tell them about the things I really do miss.
