The park district is looking for anyone who would like ​to make cards, color pictures, or even write inside store-bought cards.

Santa's mailbox is opening on Nov. 17 at the Founders Community Center, 140 Oak St.

Over the years, Manley has collected and donated hundreds of suitcases for children in foster care.

The fair will offer a variety of free screenings, demonstrations and informational booths, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Nov. 14.

The Club Lemont offers a full food menu, cocktail menu and five indoor golf bays.

The grant will support increased traffic safety enforcement efforts aimed at saving lives and reducing crashes, police said.

"Our CITGO Lemont Refinery follows all required federal, state and local reporting requirements," a representative told Patch.

"We've relayed the concerns from the residents," the Lemont village administrator said.

The forest preserve will hold a "pumpkin pummeling" session from noon to 4 p.m. on Nov. 8 at Hidden Oaks Nature Center in Bolingbrook.

The event's aim is to support small businesses, and also give back during the holiday season.
