A second person has been arrested in connection with a case of child abuse that resulted in an infant being placed in a medically induced coma

A father is facing charges after his 3-month-old was taken to the emergency room with damage to both lungs and a swollen eye.

The sheriff’s office says additional charges are likely.

According to Scioto County Sheriff David Thoroughman, the incident happened at 8:34 a.m. on Saturday, March 8.

The search warrant was executed in the 1100 block of 25th Street.

The mayor of Coal Grove, Ohio, is accused of driving drunk, rear-ending a woman’s vehicle and taking off from the scene. 

The flooding on Feb. 16 and other and weather-related events, killed 23 people in Kentucky.

The drive is being held at all Valley Health locations through Friday, Feb. 28.

Later this afternoon, the Governor will host Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem in Frankfort after she views flooded areas.
