UBC itself has not seen any such public reports since the start of classes, but both the AMS’s Sexual Assault Support Centre and UBC’s Sexual Violence Prevention Office are aware of the risks on campus right now.
Gallo also said that she would like to improve the involvement of students. She plans on doing so by collecting their opinions through Qualtrics surveys.
AMS VP Academic and University Affairs Eshana Bhangu has made progress on most of her goals, but some of the promised outcomes of her advocacy have yet to be seen.
Dr. Mario Gallo has resigned from the University Neighborhood Association (UNA) Board of Directors. Fall election candidate Fei Liu will be replacing Gallo on the Board.
